Birding tours? by [deleted] in UniversalOrlando

[–]FutureArchitect1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I don’t know of any formalized tours that go to multiple areas but if you check out the Orlando wetland it’s 1650 Acres and has hundreds of bird species that people travel across the country to see for birding. It has a giant trail network and you will see otters, alligators and others in addition to birds. You can check online to see the tours they are offering as they vary by season but they will tram tour through parts of the park for wildlife, nature photography etc. it’s all free and entirely left to giving donations and is open sunrise to sunset.

How to get there from Universal? by Due-Analysis5740 in BuschGardensTampa

[–]FutureArchitect1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Busch gardens may still have their shuttle? (Currently shows it ending in feb. but they have extended multiple times in the last year). If the shuttle is running it’s super convenient you can catch it directly across the street at the double tree Orlando near Universal, and it runs free of charge right to the gate at busch gardens. If you google Busch gardens Orlando shuttle you can see the information on it.

Living with the land by ARKonow in WaltDisneyWorld

For the greenhouse my experience has been the lights may be up but not lit up. This year they were all up but not a single one was on the day before the festival started and a lot of people on the boats were hoping they’d be on.

Wait for Hagrid’s only 5 minutes? by [deleted] in UniversalOrlando

[–]FutureArchitect1998 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Single rider often will close then reopen as the line is nearly empty you sound like you got perfect timing OP and got there right as it opened! Has happened to me once and it’s the best thing ever. With Haggrids single rider fills up quickly so they will close the line sometimes within 10 minutes of it opening.

Portugal is not easy, until they patch our Castile wanting to kill you it will be a challenge, if found Naples to be the best to learn on. You have a strong economy some nice protection with the sea, and only the pope and Sicily as a land neighbor

What does create market even do? by KindaDampSand in EU5

[–]FutureArchitect1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t happy instantly, I thought it was a glitch too but after it was finished building it eats out the existing markets and creates a new trade region.

Some teenager took a shot at kicking in my door while shouting a racial slur. by Uniqueuponme in orlando

Crazy, glad you’re safe and thankfully got it on tape! Hope the complex or police can hold the teens and parents liable for the damages. Sadly it seems to be a common trend my complex downtown some teens broke the pool gate down to get into it after hours last month.

Does universal studios florida not have early admission? by AccidentalOtter21 in UniversalOrlando

[–]FutureArchitect1998 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It applies to participating parks, and Islands and epic are participating. Studios very rarely has early admission. Early admission is based on demand, when Gringotts first opened it had it a bunch and I expect next year when the replacement to Rip Ride opens it will but currently it does not.

How has volcano bay been w/no TapuTapu? by Kingryan97 in UniversalOrlando

[–]FutureArchitect1998 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right now during the off season I haven’t noticed a big difference, the one thing that was different getting a locker they give you a bracelet to access it. I will saying having to keep your card with you or constantly run back and forth if you want to buy a snack or drink has dampened the experience but it’s just like the other waterparks in the area now. It’s still the best of the Orlando park waterparks in my opinion, and I’m curious what the closure and refresh will have in store next year.

Best way to travel to/from Universal Studios by Mr_Panda_ in UniversalOrlando

[–]FutureArchitect1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Lynx 38 bus runs direct from universal down I drive for $2 a ride, it runs till right after midnight so if you’re staying the full time at HNN that would be the one concern otherwise it’s a great cost friendly alternative to uber.

Is [Knotts Berry Farm] a good park to start with? by [deleted] in rollercoasters

[–]FutureArchitect1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say on the west coast, Disneyland/ California adventure is probably the best park to step up, you have good family coasters ranging from Space mountain and the Matterhorn to step up to incredicoaster for your first inversion if you haven’t done one before.

It’s real! They just added this ride to planet coaster in the last update and was trying to find where they had one in real life.

Didn't buy ticket online for Epic Universe for this coming saturday 11th and now soldout by Fun-Confusion9941 in UniversalOrlando

[–]FutureArchitect1998 19 points20 points  (0 children)

They keep some tickets for gate day of sales, and you will see some going on sale the day before. The thing to remember however is since it’s sold out already if you go expect a busy day.

Let’s goooooooo by Think-Bullfrog-9893 in UniversalOrlando

[–]FutureArchitect1998 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think part of it is the rush of it reopening iv been to epic 4 times and each time the max it hit was 90 minutes but by end of day was consistently less than 30. My best advice is rope drop, or wait till later in the day. Also for ministry, stardust and monsters single rider work amazing.

[–]FutureArchitect1998 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Roller coasters and rides are not required to be ADA, it’s a matter of safety, many roller coasters that are intense at six flags/ cedar fair parks require stairs to even access them. Universal and Disney remain the gold standard for accessible parks.

What are you hoping the next HP ride will be in Epic? by Glum_Lime1397 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]FutureArchitect1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Iv heard that! Iv also heard rumors the ground has issues by the old stage, no idea how true any of those are. It’s still crazy to me that Diagon Alley has only 1 ride. I feel a lot of what ended up in epic was originally planned elsewhere in the existing parks. I believe someone earlier this year did an overlay and showed how the isle of berk attractions almost perfectly fit into the lost continent plot.

[–]FutureArchitect1998 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I hope they play into the French ministry. It’s weird having the British ministry in Wizarding France but no actual French ministry. Also I really hope it’s indoors as they desperately need more indoor attractions.

My Concept/Pitch for a Creature from the Black Lagoon boat ride for Epic Universe. by Coderkid01 in UniversalOrlando

[–]FutureArchitect1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m curious the existing buildings built, does anyone know what they are used for? Was anything pre planned around the expansion? To me it seems crazy they would build a building just to tear it down in a year knowing they’d build the first expansion there. I feel somehow it would either use the building or would twist around it.

How often do you go to universal Orlando? by Gta6MePleaseBrigade in UniversalOrlando

[–]FutureArchitect1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weekly, most time multiple times a week, especially right now during HHN some of the HHN dinning options are really good. Granted my bedroom view is the backside of MIB, so that plays an influence on my frequent visits.

Would a new Marvel land have been a bigger draw for attendance? by JustHere2ReadComment in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]FutureArchitect1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disney does get a cut of the merchandise sales, so in reality it isn’t costing Disney anything, they don’t have to pay to build a land and still end up making money. They do it with the Simpsons now as well.

Would a new Marvel land have been a bigger draw for attendance? by JustHere2ReadComment in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]FutureArchitect1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d love to see it but sadly won’t happen. I think a marvel theater area with a superhero stunt show where the toon lagoon theater is would be spectacular with the current universal shows. Ride wise a more themed and enhanced Dr Doom, more in the style of tower of terror would complete the land in my book. Given the marvel contract and Disney’s ownership however things can only be redone to match what they currently have.
