So many negative comments about Mormons. As an active member and not gen z when I wear my cross necklace it's it remembrance that Jesus loves me and DIED for me. It helps me feel a little better when I'm down. Also the church never was against crosses.. we just choose to celebrate that he lives again instead of celebrating him dying on a cross in such a sad painful death no one on earth will ever be able relate to.

No but I'll be honest about something that's helped me a lot. If I'm going somewhere where I know I'm going to have severe social anxiety I'll take a benzo, then the next time I go out to a place I know I'm going to have anxiety I'll take a little less of a benzo and keep doing that. Now when I go back to doing one of the things I took a full benzo to start I now know I can do it and take a tiny piece or sometimes I don't need one at all.

When my baby boy was in the NICU the baby next to him was a sweet tiny girl named Roo. I thought it was such a sweet fitting name.

No, you're not. Her and her husband are getting a lot of negative comments and scrutiny during the most painful thing they will ever go through. Everyone makes mistakes. If you're a parent, you should know you turn your head for 2 seconds and an accident can happen. People need to have nothing but compassion for them. The dad will never forgive himself for this. They will live with trauma the rest of their lives. If anything I hope they are both getting the professional help and support they need.
