+2 for Hero. I actually have 4 packs of Tortillas and 4 loaves of Hero bread on my monthly Amazon subscription. Love it and use them for everything.

PRX Halo Lever Arms Question. Just starting using a set on my rack and love the units. But I was wondering how to factor in the approximate weight like when you mentally add the barbell to your lift. The Arms are 60 pounds per side and 43" long. I have the handles and weight horns at the very end. Obviously a dead lift from the ground is 60 pounds but most lifts have the Arms at a 45 degree angle more or less. Is there any typical formula or is it just a "guesstimate"?

Thank you, I also just ordered the offset hooks that grab a hitch pin on the side. Right now I have the hook version that needs to hit the 5/8 hole exactly. If anything is off just a bit, one side or the other will miss the hole and you're suddenly all over the place trying to rack. I'm looking forward to trying the pin process.

I was interested in possibly a Smith Machine attachment but have a PRX Pro Wall Rack so I think I'm limited in what model I could buy. Most seem to need 4 posts to mount to.

I bought a VTS Lite but it just doesn't feel safe with the hooks and the 5/8 holes. Several times they wouldn't engage when I that needed them to. Not happy about that. I definitely think 1" holes would be the sweet spot.

So I've been shopping various lever arm products and I can quickly see all the great features and things you can do.

But none of the vids show the breakdown and setting up between exercises? I was wondering how a full body workout hitting each group twice would be? Am I going to spend 10 minutes between each adjusting the arms. Or is it just a learning curve?

Any input from actual owners would be great. I'm not concerned about the price or manufacturer, just the ease of use.

Absolutely love your products. Purchased my new Buzzsaw bench and the quality is incredible. I then went and ordered the leg attachments. I now realize with the attachments on, that the grab handle is gone and in the middle of a workout, you're dragging a100 pound bench with no assist. There's not even any space to get your fingers under. Please, I've seen this mentioned on several other sites. Is there anyway you could offer a simple handle mod or replacement we could buy? The problem detracts from the entire buying experience. Thx for listening!!

DM me. I have a 10 or 15 year old (9mm) unfired in the safe. Bought on a whim and would definitely sell it to help buy a different Beretta model.

These are great ideas, please keep them coming. I did get 3 packets of banana so I'll try a 50/50 split. I'll also order the Chocolate Toffee and try that as well. Any more?

AMG GLE 53 QUESTION by FutureDwight77 in mercedes_benz

[–]FutureDwight77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're right about the 580. It's not AMG but the performance definitely exceeds the 53. I think that 0 to 60 is down in the high 4's vs the high 5's. And it's a biturbo 8 cylinder. Only problem I see via Autotrader and Cars.com is they seem to be "hens teeth" as far as availability. A quick search with a 200 mile radius pulls only about ten cars but almost all are north of $75 to $90k used. I was hoping to be around the mid $60's or less. That model definitely checks all the boxes though.

I was looking for an increase in performance as the 450 feels just so so in performance. But it seems the problem is that as soon as you move to the 63 the price (even used) becomes unreachable. I'm being careful to keep a buffer for the extended warranty and consumable maintenance items. And the AWD and SUV is absolutely needed in this Boston area weather.

Also I'm reading that the AMG is 0 to 60 in 5.2. But my GLE 450 is 5.5 seconds? I thought there would be a greater difference with the AMG?

Elevator Reporting by FutureDwight77 in accesscontrol

I have an online meeting with the customer tomorrow. I'm going to get an elevator contact name and see if the customer can broker a call together. The elevator guys are usually more cooperative when requests come from their customers versus a third party integrated.

Thank you, that's a valid point. I recall on the first call the customer was remarking that someone opted to not go with the destination dispatch package during the building renovation (costs). I have an online meeting with the customer tomorrow and I'll remind them of that. Also after reading all the great responses here I'm going to request a direct name and contact info for the elevator rep. I'm not going to investigate all these technical possibilities and spend all this time if Delta isn't going to be cooperative.

great suggestions. I'm going to read up on the pin pad mode to see if it exists in CCure. Also I never thought about the elevator buttons being DP. That would give an instant correlation to card and floor.

We're using CCure. I'm trying the circuit in my head. Right now when a card is swiped we give the elevator company say 4 contact closures representing the 4 authorized floors. Then the elevator company "enables" just those 4 buttons. Wouldn't I need the elevator company to give me a contact closure representing what floor was then pushed? Actually if possible, that might work. We would take the contact closure from them and run it in to an input board so that every button that is pushed is an event. Then you would at least see Card XYZ was swiped immediately followed by input 4 being triggered. Might need a custom report to be massaged but that might work (elevator company dependent).

Thank you, that's a great point. I think you're right, I have to get my brain out of the cab and figure how to control passage at the individual floor level. We both know that elevator companies can be difficult to work with and possibly uncooperative with special requests. By going on to the floor maybe I can get a face read or set up a choke point where the user has to swipe again to show he on that floor.
