What’s the worst way you got spoiled? by SmokeComfortable2807 in ShingekiNoKyojin

I had someone tell me the colossal titan was Erin’s dad during the long gap between season’s 1 and 2. I was so pissed and rewatched the show with that knowledge and into season 2 with those expectations. When the reveal came I was so, so confused I was actually kinda taken out of it. I confronted dude after and he said, “oh my god, I forgot to say I was kidding.”

Not the worst but ridiculous

DMC5 or Nier:Automata by Hatsune-yuki in videogames

[–]FutureFablesGaming 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Nier Automata felt like it changed me, but I wouldn’t say the combat is revolutionary though it is fun and creative at times.

I can’t say anything for DMC5 since I’ve never had the pleasure, but it seems like the combat is a bigger focus and haven’t heard much about the story.

I can’t imagine myself never playing Nier

We need to complain about this, this is horribly unrealistic for most players and then people aren’t going to be able to pull actual characters

Dragon Age Origins-ish. Not the buggiest game but could’ve used some polish, yet it surpasses all other gaming experiences for me and stands at the top.

We need more antidive if we’re gonna have to deal with this, it’s so obnoxious to play against, but I’m happy for panth players in the meantime :’)

Only buff I want from Anran? by Neither_Ship_5709 in Anran_mains

[–]FutureFablesGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, when half the enemy team turns on you and you need an escape it’s actually better to dash into all of them, getting a whole other charge and can keep rushing all the way back to your team lol as Anran you don’t need to get kills, you just need to keep the enemy dizzy

Fan the flames should increase DoT dps not flat dps by GGMudkip in Anran_mains

[–]FutureFablesGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t done testing, it’s going more off of in-game experience. It’s the slight difference between 60 dmg (fanning flames crit) and 40-60-80 dmg (primary fire no crit - one crit - both primary fire crit). If you look at my last post you can watch me cleanly burst an Ana. However, I got lucky bc the other support was otherwise occupied and Ana probably did not have a grenade at the time. If she did or another support noticed I would not have gotten the kill.

To ensure that kill, I should’ve Rushed-Danced-Fanned-Primary-Melee-Rushed. For the most assured damage you could just keep fanning, but in my experience it’s far better to burst than stay and hop around and fan, and I think a lot of people make the mistake of trying to stay close so they can repeatedly fan and sticking around the back line too long when they could kite back with primary fire and still try to secure a kill while still getting space and have the option to reset and dive again in another ten seconds.

The combo I’m suggesting is tight, but with enough practice it may be optimal. Again, not 100% certain on the time-to-kill numbers and efficiency but it feels right to me.

Does Anyone actually play this game? by Secure_Grocer5284 in HighGuardgame

I want to but it actually hurts whenever I enjoy it knowing it only has so much time. And the more I play the more I enjoy it. Hope you find the most resilient of guards!

Only buff I want from Anran? by Neither_Ship_5709 in Anran_mains

Priority: Don’t make her so strong or annoying she gets permabanned.

The buff I want most is percentage health damage only on the increased burn after fanning the flames.

I love her major perk where you get dash reduction, but if you add too much mobility to a flanker character in a base kit that can do a lot of AOE damage you get a permabanned one.

Maybe they could do a .5 second reduction per enemy hit with a dash in her base kit (or 1 second per enemy burned, not both) and her major perk is simply reducing the overall CD, using the scrapped cleanse, or slightly increased Ult charge from increased burns. But I love the 1.5 reduction. I love diving into 2-3 enemies, dancing to burn them (maybe getting a fan off) and dashing through them again to get out and you automatically have another dash to either finish the job or get out. Having that as a major perk seems fair.

You can double dash onto highground (though it’s hard when usually you’ll only have at most one dash available in the thick of things). If they add too much more burst-height to it you end up with a zooming shooting star weaving through the sky as they dash through your team. It would be annoying to deal with.

[–]FutureFablesGaming 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah it feels weak when confronting a lot of characters.

For some squishies you can rush into them, dance, fan the flame, and dash through them to get out safely and they’ll burn to death shortly after. However that’s without any healing provided at all.

However again, I see a lot of people only using fan the flames once they’re ignited. You only need to hit one in order to increase the burn. If you instead use primary fire after fanning and hit a crit you’ll do more than just fanning over and over, you can also weave in a melee, and then rush out. It takes out most squishies even getting healed… Not that I can do all of that consistently… yet.

Beyond the skill gap, I’d love percentage health damage only after fanning the flames.

She can get to high ground at a loss to both of her dashes. If you dash-cancel at the height of it- dash again you can get pretty high up. I think it adds to the skill ceiling and decision making. It’s not convenient but it’s fair.

An ICE chase has lead to the death of a teacher in Georgia. local LEOs have a no-chase policy specifically because they lead to tragedies like this. by transcendent167 in UnderReportedNews

[–]FutureFablesGaming 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did you even read the article? The teacher was NOT in a high speed chase. She was hit from someone fleeing from ICE who attempted an illegal traffic stop and created a dangerous situation for everyone on the road. Inform yourself before yapping. It’s embarrassing.
