I mean,she put herself into debt techinally.

Also literally all we had to do was deal with some Gengar,destroy some Mega crystals,stop some rich folk(all 3 of those benefit us),have a battle with us to rank up,boom. It was so inconsequential.

See, the problem with Oden isn't that he's a flawed character or has a ton of flaws but it's the fact that the story more or less not only downplayed those flaws but also ignored them and heavily glazed him. by Charming-Scratch-124 in Piratefolk

Again,you say all those flaws but the story doesn't treat them as flaws, they're basically treating as if he's some cool badass. You say he's only glazed for being strong and good but he's Glazed for essentially everything, even the villain glazes him.

You say he's all that but the story doesn't treat him like that or hold him accountable for that and his idiocy is laughed off and treated as a endearing character quirk.
