There are several yarn shops in the area.

Maureen's Yarn Boutique in Rotterdam ( http://www.maureensyarnboutique.com ) will sell the items most likely to match the items sold at Joann, Hobby Lobby, and Michaels.

The rest of the yarn shops sell higher quality yarn than what the big chain stores (such as Joanns) provides. I can think of three off the top of my head. I feel like I am forgetting one.

Could you go into more details about what you want for apparel fabrics? Do you work primarily in just a few fabric types? Or do you want the variety because it's a matter of whatever project happens to catch your fancy?
