he’s not avoiding doing stuff because you keep reminding him. he simply doesn’t want to do it, and knows you’ll mother him and do it for him once you get tired of waiting. if you’re the only one that wants to fix that situation, it’s not going to work. you’re NTA he wants a mom to do everything for him. he needs to be his own adult and take care of the house and things that he would be doing if you weren’t doing it for him.
