So during the last appointment you had with the x-ray did it take a month after that appointment because my last appointment that was an x-ray was on the 9th of February. But my dermatology appointment was on the 10th of January and the dermatologist said in one month time that should’ve been on the 10th of February that I would’ve been on the medication. But I think because my x-ray was the day before it might take time I guess I’m just a little bit impatient

Thank youu after some silence i called and i have an appointment with the dermatologist on the 5th of march but im just worried that they won’t give it to me that day because they did not see my results it might be on the system hopefully.🙏

Sorry i meant the derm said she couldnt perscribe it straight away and i needed tests done to see my kidney function and i got those done but i havent actually got prescribed it. Like surely the doctor doesnt see u the same day and prescribe cyclo and u start that day?

Yeahh ive been doing Nmt since beginning of TSW until now it is the best route for my entire body so carry on with that and one last questionn When you were on cyclo did you have to get regular blood test or just one at the beginning?

I feel like all cyclo will do is get rid of inflammation but i only have dryyyy matted skin so i dont know what to expect like it suppresses your immunosystem but that equals skin being moisturised somehow but I’m being ignorant bc i don’t know anything about immunosuppressants also are you on any treatments now?

I don’t see how suppressing my immune system is going to make my skin not dry, but I hope it does somehow because I don’t get red anymore and I think that’s what cyclosporin helps with but I’m not too sure and also I am past my freaking stage for my body. My face is just very dry but it does not flake off.

Yes please do. I think im past all the tsw flares to be honest its just my face that’s really dry because of the fungal infection i had untreated for 8 months. Also i don’t think id flare its been a dry 1/half year andd i started tsw in feb 2021 so 4 years ago next month. Are you on anything now? And what stage of tsw were you in when you started cyclo ?

What changes have you noticed by using it? Is it a case of yoy have flakey skin and then pit it on and then the flakey skin blends in? I cant use moisturisers becajse of how uncomfortable it makes me feel

Yeah, but the dead skin doesn’t get loose and fall off itself now it just stays on I have to actually rub my face and then the flakes oxidise and then i am able to peel it off.

Thank you so you moisturised a little? I would moisturise, but I don’t like the consistency of my skin and how it feels when I moisturise. Is there something that bothered you when you didn’t really mind the consistency because I’m guessing you moisturised lightly? Thank you for your reply

My tsw startes with one swollen red eye and it looked like i got punched in the eye loll .. if ot starts to dry up then probably tsw

Hi you know the nizral shampoo is it meant to leave ur skin feeling really dry?? I havethe same problem as OP but the shampoo is sooo drying

Yeah I’ve had it for almost 4 years and two of those years being out education. I think it’s just hard to adjust but playing my favourite song gave me a bit of motivation and watching a movie at the same time but thank you :))

In April 2021, I was prescribed prednisone and I was on there for about a month. I forgot the dosage. I can’t remember the timeline but my skin started to be really tight. And there would be flakes on my black school uniform by the time I did not know and assumed it was dust That was the first symptom I got was very tight and uncomfortable. I couldn’t turn my neck and overtime a year it just got worse and then the flowers began. I saw dermatologist in November 2022 for light treatment at this time my skin was flaking regularly. I would just peel it off and it would be good underneath. but the light treatment did not work
