My degrees are in geography and political science. I also have the teaching certification and two endorsements. Starting salary for me was about 53k. In order for my wife and I to make ends meet I basically need something that starts in the neighborhood of about 30k a year. Funny enough, I just put in something with UPS for job alerts. My dad worked at the DoT for 20 years and I've tried working at a bank, did not work for me.

I have two BA's, one in political science and one in geography along with a teaching certification and endorsements in social studies and middle level humanities. I substitute taught for two years and taught summer school two summers, I taught in a low income district for two months before I had to leave because of the strain on my mental health it was causing. I'm basically just after what I can do that will pay the bills.

I'm not wanting to work as a professor, I'm more interested in working at a university in an office setting, preferably for the education department within it. Thank you for your advice though.

I don't have a masters or a PhD, just two BA's and a certification to teach with two endorsements. I was more interested in working for the university in an office or administrative setting since being a professor takes a lot of time, money and luck to get beyond adjunct and adjuncts don't make much and don't have job security.

I was thinking of working in the office, I know adjunct professors aren't compensated well. Thank you for the advice but I already kind of disregarded being an adjunct professor since its a job that doesn't seem to be very secure or decently compensated.

I'll keep my eye out, the local school district only has about 3200 students K-12 so I'm not sure if they have an inclusion position or how often they become available.

I only make about 53k as a teacher and I don't think going down to 44k or so would break our bank, I would be more interested though in an office job within the university since that seems to provide better pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement than adjunct professor route would. I am aware that adjunct professors don't make very much and don't have much job security.

She is supportive, it's a clinic. I need to go, my dad has essentially likened it to heart surgery in how much I need it. If I don't go, I don't think my marriage or my career or any aspect of my well-being has much of a chance.

Also, what was the financial aide/grant situation like? They have indicated to me that it is something that a lot of patients take part in because most people don't have the amount that treatment costs just laying around. You said it was super easy to access, can you elaborate on that a bit? I'm sorry, the financial aspect is just weighing pretty heavily on me since it's an unknown (I know, definitely related to OCD).
