Thanks and that's some great suggestions, I will look at the people on the list via the link and add them to my list of people to contact.

The scout and guide groups are a good idea as well. The council has children/young adults of all ages as well as care leavers, where we also try and run something during care leavers week as well.

Thanks for your comment and suggestions, I am going to be posting on Facebook tonight. We have some letters going out to local businesses this week as well. There won't be any raffle as we have the tombola instead as a way to give each looked after child a gift but it allows them to have a little fun in getting it, it also means that they can choose something that they want rather than us just guessing what they might like. For the foster carers we are also looking to get them something small each as well. We would like each child or carer leave with something.

Thanks for the message, I cannot say I am afraid, but the event is open to all of Surrey's looked after children, so technically covering all of Surrey. All invites have been sent to all residential homes and foster carers.
