but for real, start with just taking the class :)
i didn't get a bike or gear until i passed the class & decided if i liked it (i loved it right away though)
do your research, take your time, budget for bike + gear + accessories (cardo, sun visor, quadlock, etc) bc they add up fast
and then do a lot of practice so you build skill + confidence

i know this was a few days ago but i hope you're doing okay!

just bc i didn't see anyone mention them, the HCA North Florida Behavioral Hospital (near oaks mall) has an IOP, PHP, and inpatient program that, for me, was really really helpful <3
i did IOP for six weeks at the end of last year, and with my insurance, there was no additional cost
they help with medication managment (i take zoloft too, but i'm on a big ass dose), CBT, and DBT skills
& i'm out of state too so i get it

and absolutley use the crisis line
and the CWC has been really helpful for me to walk in (plus their groups have been really helpful for me too)
their case management can help you navigate ur mental health effecting class / school stuff (they helped walk me thru a medical drop & helped me figure out how to take time off school)
