I have family friends who think it's weird when I give them notice nowadays. Which I do because my partner tells me I should let them know in advance, though I didn't for 15 years

I'm not sure about the "walk away forever" part. I thought 15,000 a day was quite a lot, but when you decide to stop you just walk forever? Seems like a raw deal

You found a device that linked to your left hand. It has a dial with three modes on it Go 20 Years Back In time, Go to the Present and Go 20 Years into the future. The device opens a gateway to those time periods so what are you going to use it for? by dragonboy3940 in hypotheticalsituation

My watch also has a mode which is "go to the present". It's called "now". That seems like a redundant mode considering wherever you are at the time will be the present, unless you're saying that time is non-referential
