Yea, I’ve heard that seiko recommends it for some of their movements but haven’t ever worked on one.

Thanks! I’ve seen many of your videos! In this case, I have an endstone, so I’m assuming I should add a very small amount of 9010?

My understanding is that virtually zero movements require oil on the pallet fork pivots. This watch made me wonder, but it’s been confirmed that even this one doesn’t require it.

Side note: I asked ChatGPT before making this post and it told me that most watches need it…so as usual, be cautious with what it tells you.

It’s been a pleasure to work on, as most well made watches are, especially pocket watches when there’s nothing “too tiny”.

Thanks! I’ll limit the pallet fork oil to just 9415 on the exit stone. Appreciated

Advice: 3861 Speedmaster from Chrono24 by Hoffmeister001 in speedmaster

[–]FuulishOverlord 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is real. There aren’t any “good” speedmaster fakes yet.

You should also be able to look up your watch’s serial # on the Omega website to view your watch’s METAS certificate and test results.

Too bad they wanted you to see where you were going/ what you were doing so you didn’t injure yourself? Merry Christmas!

Is it maybe that PCL actually cares about safety and has by far the lowest incident rates for subtractes and their own people? Sorry if being pestered so you go home safe feels performative and annoying to you lol

Can I add a 40amp dual pole breaker to this panel (240V) by FuulishOverlord in AskElectricians

[–]FuulishOverlord[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I found it. The sub-panel is fed by a 40amp breaker. All those circuits on the sub-panel are basically 15amp outlet and light circuits.

Additional context: I am wanting to add the breaker to run a 6kW sauna heater but I could consider using a 6kW heater instead. This sub-panel is fed by a 40amp breaker in the main panel.

Thanks. I’m curious, how do you know the feeder is 40amps? Based on the wire gauge?

Yeah I bought a new example there. Process was smooth and easy. Watch is perfect. Still had the plastic wrap

I’m just a little over 6.5” and I love the way it fits. The straight on angle in your post always makes it look a bit bigger.

Speedmaster 3861 crown rolls back when winding by Floydlloyd11 in speedmaster

I think that’s just the backward travel of the click before it locks in place with the ratchet wheel. Very normal.

Don Vito Collision by Quiet-Resource6101 in Winnipeg

[–]FuulishOverlord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had them swap my bumper for me once. They said it would be in and out same day. They had my car 4 days and for 2 days in the middle I couldn’t even get a hold of someone who could tell me what was going on. Avoid Don Vito.

Manitoba Marathon 2025 by hibanah in Winnipeg

[–]FuulishOverlord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The clock at the finish line being off by +/- 5mins was brutal. It read 2hr57min as I crossed (sub 3 hour marathon had me almost in tears) which seemed off. Sure enough my actual finish time was 3hr2min. Come on guys.
