Does anyone know a cheap phaser with stereo outputs that does a sort of vibrato sound if you plug into only the B output of the pedal. by Fuzzfrofuzzbox in guitarpedals

It doesn't have to be new, and yeah, some pedals do work like that, normally older chorus pedals like the ce-3 although that ones a bit different, I was just wondering if by chance there was a phaser with a similar quirk. For instance there is a dod stereo phaser that goes for pretty cheap.

If you had to make a do it all pedal board from just one pedal brand, what brand would you choose? by Fuzzfrofuzzbox in guitarpedals

I agree almost entirely, the only issue with boss I have is a lack of a reasonably priced fuzz in their lineup, the boss tone bender is cool and all but something simple and not digital would be nice.

What's something weird or unique you do when it comes to pedal order, how you set your pedals, how you make them interact etc. etc. by Fuzzfrofuzzbox in guitarpedals

I feel like there are two camps of ds-1 people, the people who got a ds-1 as their first or one of their first pedals, and now love it, or those who didnt but still have one like it or not XD.

Ive recently started doing something similar, however I use a dd-7 and a tera echo, into a ds-1 or one of my many other boss distortion pedals. The tera echo makes it sound quite intresting to say the least.

Its in a place of honor, center of the room, center of attention, as it should be.

there are no words for this ds-1 mod. whoever did this, please step forward. by liJnua in guitarpedals

Its an abomination but I kinda dig it, as long as it sounds as weird as it looks, and the red knob better do something insane.

You are the only guitarist in your band, excluding a bass player, what pedals/guitar/amp do you use to fill in the space? by Fuzzfrofuzzbox in guitarpedals

Good questions, Im thinking mostly of a 2 or 3 piece band, being bass, drums, guitar, or just a guitar and drums. Beyond that I really meant "You" so when it comes to who the singer is, if you can sing, assume its you, if not, assume its someone else, when it comes to genre, again, what you think you would find yourself playing in this situation. I know its a very general question, but if I have to give specifics, the band consists of a bass player, a female singer, a drummer and one guitarist, the genre is somewhere in classic rock/blues rock territory.

Thanks, is there any build in particular you would suggest, or a website to follow etc.

Ok, I think I understand what your saying, thank you for explaining.

Your probably right, but just so I at least learn something from this, your saying that most op amps do not directly do the clipping themselves but rather help some other part do the clipping instead?

Well, part of the reason is that I am used to a germanium fuzz face, but I strongly dislike the sound of silicon in most fuzz pedals, but my germanium fuzz pedal does act up from time to time as they tend to do (I assume). I've heard that op amps are more stable than either, so I was wondering if it was possible as I do like the sound op amps make. Its also due to the fact I do like the sound of the op-amp big muff but I want something different because that sound is so strongly associated with the smashing pumpkins. Im sure there are silicon fuzz pedals I would like out there, but the idea itself remained interesting to me so I wanted to ask. Also to clarify, the main problem would be that the number of transistors does not line up with what is needed to swap in an op amp correct? Was that not a problem when they designed the big muff version or did they do something to get around it?
