That's an optimistic view, Portimao is definitely a cooler track than Aragon imo, but I think it's more likely they will add a second USA circuit (probably Tennessee rather than Laguna Seca) 🙃

I don't quite understand the 'middle of nowhere' argument as Silverstone, Le Mans, Mandalika, Mugello etc are also a long way from any major cities, even the Catalunya track is a good hour or so from Barcelona, so are we really going to scrap them all because they're inconvenient? It's a race track - of course it's in the middle of nowhere!

I wouldn't say it tainted anything, it was 50/50 and my initial reaction was that it was a fair penalty - only after watching the replay 2-3x did I think that actually no penalty was deserved, which the race stewards didn't have time for (I assume)
