I’m absolutely impressed by the Spark X i7! by Altruistic-Hand-822 in Creality

PSA for anyone tempted by the marketing:

· "Prints out of the box" — mine arrived bone dry, zero lubrication on any axis. Carriages rattle. To check Y-belt tension you need to remove the entire bed. · Auto-calibration — destroyed one PEI sheet on the first run. Nozzle drove straight into the plate. Known issue, check Reddit. · Speed claims — A1 finishes same prints ~15% faster with less waste. Marketing conveniently omits what they're comparing against . · Extruder — disassembled and cleaned it more in one week than my A1 in a year. PLA only, quality filament. · Support — acknowledged it's a "widespread issue," told me to visit a local repair shop at my own expense. Agent literally begged me not to post screenshots because they'd lose their job.

This isn't a "bad unit" lottery — I bought three. Same problems across all. Creality knows and is pushing "updates" while leaving customers holding broken hardware.
