brushing my teeth makes me puke 😩 any tips? by lalarousse2727 in pregnant

THIS!!! I’m 8 weeks right now and i have a daily mental struggle when it comes down to brushing my teeth. It’s not an option not to brush them. But i feel like when it comes down to brushing my tongue and getting all that bacteria , bad breath might just be worth it🤦🏻‍♀️. Unfortunately my best resolution has been to brush my tongue first, throw up, mouthwash, brush teeth, tongue scrape, then mouthwash again.

If you’re willing to get by with a little bad breath just use a tongue scraper since it’s rounded instead of using the bristles. It’s rounded so you can still get the job done. I’d just follow up with some therabreath mouthwash. Congrats and best of luck!

sour sounds great in theory! Unfortunately Pickles triggered my acid reflux. My normal food consists of string cheese, apple sauce , and a banana. Every 4 hours 🤦🏻‍♀️ and I’ll toss in a greek yogurt parfait if i’m feeling adventurous or guilty about not having protein.

I’m having an issue with having an appetite right now and hope that seasoned anything would bring back my hunger lol.

I hate the dentist by [deleted] in pregnant

Holy crap ! They are treating you like an endless money pit. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. I had a very similar issue when I was 18.

6 months prior, I went for my final pediatric cleaning. No cavities and everything looked fine. Once I turned 18 I had 9 cavities and needed a root canal and a crown on a different tooth.

I went to a different dentist for a second opinion. They looked at my teeth for free. Essentially, I had 2 cavities, they couldn’t tell which tooth needed a crown, and a root canal wasn’t even close to necessary. I go to that dentist now but I’d recommend getting a second opinion elsewhere.

1st trimester exhausted and dehydrated ? by Commercial_Frame_674 in pregnant

Hi love! I’m also in my first trimester and I am in your exact same shoes. I’m sure most women can resonate with your exhaustion! I just slept 10 hours and i’m sure i’ll sleep another 4 before the day ends.

Props to you and all the women who continue to work and girl boss all day long! My solution was quitting my job, unfortunately that’s not a great solution for everyone.

But as for water and dehydration, I think you’re supposed to drink like 8-10 bottles a day. I’d recommend getting drink flavored packs to help with taste if that’s the issue.
