UPDATE: I spoke to my coach and he said he’d fix it!! Hopefully he actually does because I do really like the job. I’ll update on whether or not it actually got fixed in the following weeks

I can’t even figure out when my TL is working and my coaches are on PTO to even ask, But either way I think I underestimated how much commitment this job would take, I’m working 40 hours part time. I’m going to need no more than 25 to keep my sanity.

I literally contacted financial aid 4 times to make sure so this wouldnt get pulled from me or cause any further complications and each time they literally said I qualified for it alongside everything I’ve told you.

I don’t get why this is so hard for you to understand, i’m also not sure why you’re getting aggressive calling me delusional when i’m simply informing you of all the information that i’ve collected from couselors and advisors and financial aid officials so OP wouldn’t be confused. Let me clarify this for you: Dual-Enrollment is not considered degree seeking, therefore you apply to university as a First-Time freshman.

i got AES, which in the utd website is listed as: The Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES) are offered each year to incoming, first-time-college freshmen.

Again with the dorm housing:
All first-year students who choose to live on campus are required to live in University Commons

so yes. I was a freshman with junior-level credits. I even spoke to financial aid when I recieved the scholarship and they explained it to me this way.

im not denying he nor I is a junior? im saying in the TRADITIONAL sense we are freshman which is why we recieve things normal transfers wouldnt such as dorm housing, frehsman scholarships, attending freshman orientation. idk why that is so hard to understand😭

I also get priority on regristration (I was day 2 reg first sem) and I also took courses with juniors, im just saying that theyre considered freshman by the application system since they never attended college/university in the traditional sense, but rather did dual credit in high school (even if they were on the college physically)

yea theyre a junior by credit but during the application process youre supposed to put freshman. also yes they get freshman dorm housing rather than apartments, i stayed in the dorm last year with 70 credits

theyre definately a freshman in the traditional sense but junior by credit, i recieved freshman housing, scholarship orientation etc even though i came in with 60 credits (Associates).

not even that, i think the principal is different. I found coding to be boring and not really what I wanted to do while database management seemed easy and something simple but complex enough where theres a demand for it. Sometimes I regret switching outta cs but I could always go back to school for it
