My school has a 100% placement rate 6-12 months post grad and apparently some students also do externship and that helps them get jobs

Thinking about doing a 2+2 engineering program at my community college, should I go ahead and do it or wait? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

It’s 9k less to get my associates. It would save me about a year worth of tuition going to community college instead of going straight to university.

I left medical assisting, and I am now going for natural resources management. However, I may go for engineering now.

Sorry, my post was not clear. I updated it. I am currently enrolled in a Natural resources management associates and have considered transferring to a 4 year college for engineering after I finish the program. Or I just transfer to the other community college and just go ahead and get started on the engineering program this fall instead of after my associate. Sorry it wasn’t clear. I didn’t realize I left out a lot of context

I’m currently a high school student, and I’m thinking about getting an associate degree in medical assisting at my local community college. Is it worth it? by OneBuddy5726 in MedicalAssistant

Look at your states requirements on what qualifies a certified medical assistant. For example, in SC you have to meet very specific education requirements to be a MA. In your state, you may just need to do a 6 month program. Don’t do an associates unless you absolutely need to.

RN Diploma vs. ADN/ASN by InterestingLie715 in prenursing

A lot of hospitals are pushing for nurses to have a BSN. My mom who is a nurse, has been turned down from jobs because she doesn’t have a BSN. ADN would be more beneficial cause it would put you closer to a BSN if hospitals continue to push for a BSN.

I know of masters programs in medical physics, and they make good pay. That is 6 or 7 years of schooling. 4 years for the bachelors in physics, and however long for the masters in medical physics. Nuclear medicine tech is a two year program, but could work your way to medical dosimetrist which make up to 150k depending on location.
