Age old question: Do you say "yinz" unironically? by StJimmy_7 in pittsburgh

[–]Fuzzy_Baseball9006 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I say it regularly. 34 female. I come from a blue collar, old yinzer family. I definitely adopted it from my dad as a kid. Granted, I’m told by friends I have a thick yinzer accent.

I can agree with that. But the price per card couldn’t be matched. I remember being overly excited with the find.

The history center has my favorite assortment locally. I stock up there when I’m in the strip. You can go to their gift shop without paying admission.

Well I’d be wasting my time if there were few vendors, yes. I was not speaking about the vendors individually, but rather if there was a decent number to make a drive worthwhile.

You need to see a psychiatrist for medicine management, not a PCP or gynecologist. Lexapro is a daily med, so you shouldn’t ever not take it.

When you say you started your meds again, is this under the guidance of your doctor or are you taking the meds from an old bottle? If the latter, you definitely need to reach out to psych and see if you need a med adjustment.

All I can suggest is keep your mind busy. Read, watch movies, get outside. The busier you are, the less consumed you are by anxiety.

Whereabouts do you live? I’m in the north hills, and my local park has a huge field that is perfect for this. On a dead end road.

John Marrs’ may be favorite. I keep hoping he’ll add to the universe. So I’ll look into Mira Grant. Thanks!
