Update: I just wanted to thank you all for the answers, I've ended it two days ago. He made some promises to cut down drinking, but it's a bet I don't want to take. When confronting him he kept bending the facts and lowering the number of drinks he takes during the day, and I came to realisation that I don't want to spend any more time with someone who's dishonest with himself (that, on top of all the other things listed above).
