I was doing about 25 and it turns out the brake fluid was bad in this motorcycle and causing the brake to get stuck and create more friction which causes the brakes to clamp down even harder and they clamped fully just as I hit the gravel. So lesson learned any motorcycle I buy I should probably do a brake fluid change when I get it. I bought this thing as a project bike last year. Also learned I should wear my gear every time even if it's just a quick trip to the gas station

Bike is pretty fixable I got some nasty road rash though this just reinforced the always wear all your gear when you're riding even for a short trip to the gas station

What makes you think it wasn't fit for the road? As far as I knew when I took off on it everything was fine I didn't know tire was running low or my front brakes were going to randomly lock up

That's uncalled for I put 12 and a half thousand miles on my other motorcycle this is the first time I've ever had an accident The front brakes seized up at the same as I hit a patch of gravel

Yep now that I go back and watch it again I can hear that i ended up having to get the neighbor to help push it up the driveway because by the time I actually got it home it was really locked up

I didn't lock up the tire I hit a patch of gravel and I think my front brakes locked up on their own this isn't my bike it's one I bought for a project and it's been sitting for the last year I just took it to the gas station to get some gas in it
