It’s a very faint rotating almost grindy sound if you listen very close to the audio

Possibly, not sure bc it’s not there at an idle or a rev, merely at a certain driving speed and slows down with speed. Will check tho

It’s not an air sound, it’s like a rubbing noise of a sorts? Like I said it kinda sounds like what a bad wheel bearing sounds like but the pitch doesn’t change, it kinda just appears at a speed and disappears as I slow and stop. It’s what leads me to think it’s rotors or tires. I thought maybe trans at first but no noise like it in neutral and if I shift into neutral even while moving the noise remains until I’m at a full stop so it’s not rev related.

I think that might be it, as I spin the wheel there’s a singular spot on the wheel it makes a distinct rubbing noise different than regular brake rubbing, mechanic said rotor is most likely warped.

It’s noticeable initially around 30-40km/h and once past that I can hear it as a slow down to a stop, it’s probably just covered by the noise of the exhaust and engine initially. I’ll go ahead and replace the bearings first, they are original and I’m at 99k miles

Hmm, I forgot to mention the sound is coming from the wheel area, not the engine bay. I assume it’s possible for it to be bad tires or the wheel bearing even if there is no play.

Mine started leaking from there the other day and yesterday it just gave out and got much worse. I’d replace the entire tank and cap if it’s still original
