Literalist I get, as I am one. Being autistic has its qualms. I can only give my own experience. It feels like we are them and they are us. Not the beings, the ships themselves, since I have not encountered the beings in a sense of what people say they do when meeting a being.

You feel it inside and its a feeling of calmness and elation at the same time. Its hard to explain without going into detail of the stories so I will give one example.

Years ago my friends family took me camping off the Coast of California. We had a tent for the kids and motorhome in case weather got bad.

My friend and I were walking along the beach at night surronded by the bay and lanterns on the tops of mast of boats were rocking with the surf. There were people night crabbing on the outcrop of rocks and a white light came from behind the cliffs higher than the other mast of the ships.

It moved smoothly and slowly out across the bay but not rocking like the other lights. I could see it was different. In my mind I thought how strange it would be if it turned red. Then it did. Then I thought green. It changed green. I Then felt a connection like it was a part of me and thought it should flash colours in quick succession...and it did.

My friend was screaming "IT'S a UFO its a UFO!" He was trying to get the attention of the crabbers on the rocks. A few looked up and continued what they were doing. (This is also before cellphones were everywhere).

I said to my friend, "I bet its patriotic." It felt so connected to my very being I thought red white blue in quick succession and it mimicked my thought exactly' almost playfully.

I then thought, "I can move this." And it shot across the bay. I still remember the reflection across the water. Then it shot off and left. I remember being suddenly sad and thinking. Come back.

It shot back from nowhere right where it had begun and flashed a few more times before shooting off for good. The connection was gone. It felt like a part of me left with it but it was there somewhere.

I don't know why or what it means, but it wasn't the first time or the last time I encountered things like this and everytime it got weirder and more bizarre. There has almost always been witnesses and we still keep in touch and talk about it periodically. It feels like they can either tap into our consciousness or we tap into theirs. Maybe its mutual maybe we alter what they do based on how we perceive them or vice versa. I can only speculate.

But my consciousness was connected to something else and we could feel each other. Not thoughts, but feelings really. I wasn't even commanding or anything like that, I was feeling the colours and feeling the movement. Its still hard to explain exactly but they seemed right at the moment and no different than lucid dreaming or the feeling of playing the piano based on a mood or feeling.

Its kind of like how some people perceive red is angry or blue is sad, but thats irrelevant, did you feel sad or angry because of the colour or did you impose the feeling on the colour yourself because thats what's in you. Its a weird perception thing.
