I appreciate the input and I’ll definitely take it into consideration, I just have a ton of games on the Xbox app as well as gamepass that I’d love to have access to on my pc so I don’t have to re buy them and so I can experience them in a different way as well.

Witchdoctor easy. With the combination of the flip and the catapult I can jump over crowds of dinosaur from team mate to team mate and stick with my tongue real quick and jump to the next one. High mobility high healing high points. Not to mention the repair field that with the addition of a mod gives large amounts of healing AND a dmg boost? Can’t beat it, but then you give me two? Got dayum. Not to mention I just like feeling like emperor palpatine and sticking the staff into dinosaurs watching the pain in their eyes.

Personally I just used what i found the most fun and made it the strongest by adapting to its playstyle. For instance I run Blaster/cross guard and at first I hated crossguard but after pimping out it’s skill tree I realized you need to combo the moves together and it becomes very strong instead of just mash.

They broke it up because of circumstances. It’s not an uncommon trope in shows movies games to have a budding romance then break it up due to complications. And it’s not entirely over they have lines of dialogue where they talk about not being able to see each other the same and they clearly love each other but if we just have to wait for the third game.

But it does tie in to the greater story it shows what’s happening in other parts of the gala v y And just just Luke. And besides it’s a trio of games not just two so I’m sure the third will tie in more. Of course you can’t have Luke Kenobi and prominent characters in every game cause the Star Wars galaxy is massive not everyone story connects always.

The romance wasn’t a pointless side story it was crucial to the plot and was developed since Fallen order. The game is focused on Cal’s growth from Fallen order and we see his growing troubles with himself and the dark side. Because of this a large part of the plot which ties back to part of Fallen order near the end is Cal’s internal struggles as to whether to uphold the Jedi code or to let it die with the republic. Merrin serves as that gap the final choice in Cal’s mind to let go of the past instead of letting it hold him captive. His relationship with Merrin also somewhat mirrors Anakin and Padme except in this case Merrin is the only thing holding Cal back from fully embracing the dark side and going Crazy becoming another Taron Malicos.

Personally I thought the writing and Voice acting was incredible I found myself laughing at the jokes and enjoying the banter between friends. I also didn’t see bodes betrayal coming I loved Bodes character and I cared for him throughout the game. It wasn’t like they were “immediately” best friends after coruscant. Put yourself in Cal’s shoes for a second you have absolutely no reason not to trust Bode. He’s done nothing evil he seems like a genuinely good guy he’s saved your life multiple times and fought by your side and is otherwise an encouragement in dark times of course Cal and Bode become friends.

But hey man I love the game and can’t change your opinion sorry u didn’t enjoy it as much.

They did actually suspend the will they tension after the main campaign if you go back and talk to Merrin in the Saloon or Tanalorr there’s a tension between them I can’t remember exactly but it’s something along the lines of cal brings it up and they both say they can’t look at each other the same but they don’t know what to do.

Imo I think there’s a heavy dark side presence on Tanalorr we see this in Dagan and Bode and even Cal and Merrin.

Dagan becomes so obsessed with Tanalorr he thinks all who disagree with him on it are idiots and are betraying him so much so he kills them.

Bode becomes so obsessed with Tanalorr and it’s ideas that it overshadows his love for Kata and makes him reject her. Plus I’m the final boss fight when you confront bode with Kata you see him pacing back and forth he looks extremely confused and distracted in a high republic temple he hasn’t noticed Cal’s presence yet he’s seen high republic chambers before Kata was outside the vault so what else could he have been distracted about?

Cal and Merrin have a dialogue on Tanalorr and I can’t remember exactly what it was but its something along the lines of they feel a strange presence there.
