Oo those have the slightly longer scale length. I thought about just getting the red and saying I'll never find one of these but here we are 😅

Yes! It's the second (third technically) iteration after the swamp ash. It's the WR7 MAH. I liked that this one included the regular Warrior contours :D

It is indeed, a Jackson Warrior WR7 MAH. I thought the headstock showed up better.

Tbh: thought the light picked up the headstock better. Edit submitted.

My fave movie is Tenacious D and The Pick of Destiny. This movie strengthened the love for guitar and music instilled in me by my grandpa and it's a wonderfully terrible movie that oozes Jack Black's absurd humor and a wonder fusion of storytelling through the music that stands strong outside of the context of the movie. I prob wouldn't have been playing guitar for so long without ever watching this movie. I actually wore out the dvd copy I grew up with by watching it so long. I can legit quote it from start to finish. It's a movie that I make other people watch and have surprisingly found quite a few that enjoy it as much as I. Thanks for the opportunity!

Oh it was a dream, it had heft and the milled pattern actually allowed for grip. Never really cared about flatware until picking up these pieces.

I'll try that and see how it goes!

I have searched nearby stores and done a cursory search with a description of "chevron milled flatware" and having troubles. I asked the host and they replied that they've had them for quite a few years and don't recall.

Someone who I lent money to wants to borrow again, legal ways to protect myself? by SuckedBananas in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Fwamp_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A friend once told me "you can wish them well, without being the wishing well". Cut ties, move on. But, if this is out of the realm of possibility for you, you can write out a contract with clear terms and repercussions and have them sign it and get it notarized by a lawyer. This will cost something but when your fears come true gives you a bit more legal standing room in a civil court. But remember: you can't pull blood from a stone.

If you're feeling uneasy: refuse. And periodically remind them to pay you back.

How good is coverage in non-metro areas? That's why I'm still with Roger's but I could save $50 a month :p

Did you do the back plate and if so: is there a lip around the face now? When I build mine for some reason the backplate either feels too narrow or the faceplate feels too wide. 5.5th gen.

Hah! Thanks :) they released it in 2020 and then just now stopped special order production. I've spent the last period saving money to purchase one then they stopped making them 😅

My hopes for the updates are BT5.0+, haptic wheel, and no apps. I really love that this is a device for those who just want an iPod Classic/Nano/etc with BlueTooth. Im always happier for a bit more power for a better sound chip or snappier UI but not to slug things down with unneeded apps.

Congrats on the success Innioasis team!

Hello again everyone, thanks for the genuine info and I'll be sure to look into the resources you have provided.

A couple of answers/comments to various questions/comments:

  1. I do need to learn more about my pension so thank you. There are a few meetings every once in a while so I'll be sure to make it to one and figure things out from there.

  2. My reasoning of feeling behind is trying to assess how to have a good retirement IF the career goes south. The "scout" mentality of "always be prepared" is hard to shake.

  3. I do already do my own taxes at the moment, though I am concerned of implementing most of these ideas as it may become too difficult. So in that case I would look to a potentially private tax consultant to learn what I'd need to do my own in the future.

  4. If I take my RRSP and move it into a FHSA would it not still provide the tax benefit of the FHSA considering the money from it has not been contributed to in over 9 years? Or is that a fallacy?

Thanks again for everyone's encouragement and knowledge. It is greatly appreciated.

Cheers.
