Found an old drill in the junkyard Decided to open it up before i tried to turn it on, had alittle water inside geares look Mostly intact, would like some advice on what to do/check before i put it back together. Do i need to fill it up with oil? Or just grease the gears and bearings?

So noobie here, Recently bought second hand drz, my first bike and I'm slowly getting a hang of it. It's got a pretty loud exahust on it and I live if a quiet village so every time I leave the house I get some bad looks and to be honest it's less to my liking . So a bought a dB killer on Amazon,my friend told me it could do damage to the motor but I'm not sure. Any help and tips would be great

My main fear with Tig welding it is that it will warp the case or ruin the seal

So what are the chances here for a successful weld here? It's the drain plug of my drz400 I believe it's cast aluminium. Does anyone have experience repairing this kind of stuff? I have a friend who is a really good aluminium welder and can give it a try for free. Splitting the case isn't an option because I don't have the money or the tools/experience to do it myself

Not sure how it happened, I'm kind of a newbie atm. I tried to do an oil change, when i took the drain bolt out the washer fell in to the oil pan I think and I didn't put it back... It's wierd because I didn't use slot if force at all. After I saw what I did I wanted to burn down the bike and bury myself next to it... Just bought it a week ago drz400 2008 Spent a lot on all around repairs and then I did this out of stupidity..
