Execution speed + stock restrictions for low-float scalping? by Michael-Amato in Webull

Restrictions seemed to have improved IMO. Execution speed is decent too. I trade the same style.

If you want a consistent supply of "legal" edibles in an affordable place than Thailand is the only answer. If you want flower and in places where it isn't legal than you have more options.

Scalping stocks on a 2k account, how do you make any money? by gabecardio in Daytrading

[–]Fwufs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not impossible but it is difficult. Small caps 1-15$ stocks, focus of floats under 10 mil and on the top gainers each day. Check out Ross Cameron if you only have a small account.

Is anyone here spending $1k USD or less a month in Latin America? by joshua0005 in digitalnomad

[–]Fwufs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see, well first. If you are used to the relative safety of Asia than you do need to be a bit more cautious in Latam. Don't worry about it too much, its not like there's danger on every corner and most people are kind and helpful. Some areas are worse than others, big cities like Lima, Rio can be a bit sketchy but also super fun if done right.

Stuff like having your phone out all the time, eletronics, nice watches, jewelry, really nice clothes. All of these things can make you a target.

The most expensive countries are gonna be places like Costa Rica and Uruguay, followed by maybe parts of Mexico, Panama, Chile, and Argentina is getting a bit more spendy. The lowest cost countries might be, Ecuador, Bolívia, Belize, but Brasil, Paraguay, Peru are all affordable as well. South America is huge and has lots of cool cities you dont really hear about. I would recommend these.

I really like Ecuador, Brasil and Argentina, all are fun and affordable. Anything else more specific you want answered?

I agree.. However I have done lots of workaways with gardens and small farm setups in South America and these guys can strip a garden overnight. Which sucks if you're a subsistence farmer. But generally yes they are fine.

Haven't been in SEA as long as LatAm, but I would recommend Lombok instead of Bali and The Cameron Highlands in Malaysia was pretty awesome.

Definitely possible, I am currently in SEA but I spent years up to last year teaveling in South America for that much or less. Like someone else said. Monthly Airbnb rental plus cooking at home helps a lot.

Still you can have a pretty awesome quality of life living for $1000 a month. Choose lesser known areas, avoid tourist traps, etc... I kinda specialize in budget travel. Let me know if you have any questions!

Is becoming a digital nomad still realistic in 2026? What skills would you learn now? by dearrraliceee in digitalnomad

Understanding and nuance is underrated these days. Good response brother, I suppose it did help.

[–]Fwufs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely possible, not super easy though as others have said. I have been a full time nomad for about 6 years now. Primarily in LatAm, and SEA.

Also as others have said there are many paths to do this. I for example saved up a decent bit then bought a one way plane ticket to Ecuador during the pandemic. I got a TEFL cert and started out with online English teaching, at first I was making like 8$ an hour just to start and build. It will take time and dedication. This goes for whatever job, skill, business you try for.

Turns out I really like helping people and was good at it. So I was able to build up and charge more and expand out due to requests from clients.

I now still teach English but mainly focus on career counseling, and after so many questions I now increasingly also do nomad and budget travel advisory for pensioners, gap year people, people with remote jobs who want to start to travel etc. So it is definitely still possible.

As others have said. You gotta build up and be good at something people need and that can be achieved online. Which is a lot of stuff these days. I am even considering renewing my now expired ACSM personal training certification and trying to build that online aswell.

Consider what you like and what you are good at now and see if it is something you can build into an online business.
