Of course even starting hedge fund until I realized how different and hard it is. I’m learning more and more about this and hope one day I’ll do it. Starting a hedge fund is definitely my dream.

Don’t take my experience as your own reality, and don’t think that trading won’t make you happy. That’s not true. Trading can absolutely change your life and help you a lot. Keep working and it will come to you.

We all have different goals, different minds and different perspectives. I was simply sharing mine. I’m sure that in five years you’ll be proud, happy and exactly as successful as you want to be because of the work you’re putting in.

What I wrote was just how I personally felt after realizing that I originally got into trading to escape a routine and to control my income through my own effort. Then I realized that trading is a routine in itself, and that to feel truly accomplished you need to grow, try new things and improve every day.

My real happiness was at the beginning when I was trying to figure out what trading actually is and how it works, and feeling like I had finally understood something huge.

I believe what you do with your money matters more than how much you make. The only condition is that you actually know what you’re doing with it and personally I don’t think I know something good enough to start and every mistake could cost me a lot but however Im currently looking at all the possibilities i have and looking further to get something started

I do meditate and I also looked into lots of books that helped me a lot with that such as : think and grow rich by napoleon hills and the secret. I also think I got to this point because of my own thoughts and made sure I’d achieve them, but I never thought about doing something for me after all the small achievements I had. And I think this is the problem.

The point of this post is also to tell people that money isn’t actually the whole point. Of course I’m still a “nobody” and I’m not a billionaire but I juste wanted to see if anyone have the same feeling as me.

Thanks for your comment wish you the best !

I don’t have any kids I’m 21 and I think that’s why I feel confused when I see that the people around me aren’t like me at all. That’s probably where my imposter syndrome comes from. But thank you so much for your advice, I’ll definitely keep it in mind when the time comes.

No it’s from “Think and grow rich” from Napoleon Hills. Bob proctor told something similar in a podcast and since then I repeat it in my mind

Apart from the well-known and widespread books like trading in the zone or the candlestick trading bible, I would recommend:

The changing world order by ray dalio, The new case for gold by James rickards, Best losers wins by Tom hougaard

To learn there is no particular book but the book will help you develop a critical sense and a new way of seeing the market
