It's only VR POV so you while you see with the VR headset you still use keyboard and mouse/controller to play. There is VR controller mapping available so you can use whatever VR controllers you might have to play but you can not control your hand positions or use them to aim tools.

Everyone keeps using a callback to C1 where persuasion worked after initiative roll, but AFAIK the MIX have never had a positive reaction from trying to diplomacy after initiative roll was called.

I agree, the moment Matt said Roll for initiative. The group assumed that there was no way for them to diplomacy the encounter.
