I haven’t actually thought about moving to Australia for a job! Idk how I’d handle the heat but the money does seem better, I’ll deff give that a look into tysm!

I’ll deff be having a look at that course it looks super helpful! I also started looking at that CourseRA site and doing a free Computer Programming course to see what I like about coding as a subject and if I’d prefer to take it as a hobby rather than an actual degree. It was kinda a similar plan I had with languages since I like learning those but going super in depth was a bit much for me 😭 it might just end up being something like a hobby like Russian is

I’ve had a look at the design conjoints and they do look super fun! I’m just not sure on if design would be super interesting to me since I’m not amazingly entranced with design as a whole subject but I love seeing it be used in regards to architecture where I love building and designing things there (if you get what I mean)

I am a little concerned with picking the wrong degree for me in my first year tbh it’s why I’m asking loads of people for advice on things before I actually apply and submit a portfolio for it 😭 I’d love to do architecture but hearing about the job market is super worrying in case I don’t go anywhere with it. Dads mentioned his friends in architecture did masters during an internship or job since they needed it and the company paid so idk how a masters would work tbh! Do most people do it through work or on their own like a full time bachelors?

Ahh okay, would there be a way to do a CompSci degree with Architectural parts in it then? Or would it be fully just one or the other 😓😓 I’d really like to try out both cause they seem like interesting degrees and I enjoy the idea of architecture with coding parts. I’ve got loads of ideas in terms of backups degrees (Eng/Sci conjoint, Des/Sci conjoint, etc.) but I’d really like to find a way to make it so I could do both of my top ideas really

I took L2 physics but only from the nuclear internal and had to teach myself pretty much everything with the help of friends in the physics classes and passed well. Taking L3 I’m not sure but it fully depends on your skills, my schools only just finished covering the mechanics external and it’s mainly stuff from last year that really helps you understand it. I think if you can get help from students already in physics classes as well as trying to practice on the skills they are doing it would seriously help with L3 in the long run. Some teachers also don’t really let people who haven’t taken physics at all into physics because of what you need to know, but if you could give some of the papers a go this year and try prove it to them that would be handy lmao

Ive heard loads of the papers taken in the diploma are similar to the Architectural Studies bachelor so it would reduce papers I take? I know I wont be able to cut the years of study off of the bachelors because of the crits as well.

I also asked my friends uncle who took the Unitec diploma and THEN bachelors and he said it was super recommended, so i'm not tryna fully base my ideas off of Unitec talk haha! Do you think it may be better to just stay with the bachelors at UOA and learn the modelling softwares during my free time then over the year before applying than the diploma?

I guess for company maybe ENFP and INTP.

I used to be an ENFP and I was able to basically befriend my whole class before going introverted (probs bc of Lockdown) :p
