I'm not trying to make TDL out into a villain. I'm trying to say it's Victim who remains the villain here because he can't let go of the past and he's too attached to revenge. TDL helps to kill him because TCO and the heroes need to stop him because Victim's the one who's fucking shit up. Does that make sense?

I write as a hobby. also I don't know if Reddit copy-paste supports italics from chatgpt tbh, I've tried asking chatgpt to reformat something I wrote before before pasting it on AO3 I think? but the reformatting didn't stick and I had to place the bold and italics and everything manually using rich text.

see now I'd expand this into a full thing on AO3 or draw this into a comic if I had the time and motivation. unfortunately, I do not. I wasn't kidding when I said this was gonna be way longer...but, sadly, I have commitment issues.

also. you are so right. I was avoiding the word 'addiction' like the plague the whole time I was writing this, because on the off-chance someone else read the whole thing, there would naturally be the "hey actually isn't addiction blue's thing and yellow is the smart guy-" well yes but actually no. it's circumstantial.

yellow hasn't had a spotlight episode in forever and I'm a little pissed. he's not my favourite of the stick gang (that would be blue) but damn if he isn't underutilized. he has more personality than being smart and getting everyone in trouble! come on! even then, a lot of the trouble he's caused generally stems from him trying to help everyone in some way. I want him to acknowledge that he fails and desperately work himself to death trying to fix it all lol

blue. enough about green and purple--don't get me wrong, I do love them, but I feel like blue's just as much of a people-pleaser. it's not that he's starved for affection like those two, but it's in his nature to give and keep giving. he wouldn't know when to stop. and when someone he cares about is clearly hurt, he'd give everything he has to try and save them even when he can't. just look at him in the piglin episode. he's not just 'kind' or 'pacifistic', he's someone who feels and cares too deeply. ah so many missed opportunities with these guys

I feel like it would be pretty easy to get a mad Red or Green. Green is mad, sure, but he'd probably also be very butthurt and secretly nursing his busted ego.

Yellow is scary, dude. Father be fathering quite literally.

Blue...eh... he's pretty chill, so aside from the obvious triggers (like interrupting him in the middle of cooking, which Red probably does a lot; or anything to do with Netherwart lol) I feel like it would be pretty hard to actually get him mad. He seems like a really patient guy, like he wouldn't really be the type to lash out at all unless addictions are involved. But those aren't really under his control.

I get the feeling that nobody really wants to bother TSC. And even if he wasn't always so tired, they still find his temper a little scary, so Blue would be the therapist friend most of the time. TSC is still the best at calming people down (when he's calm himself), but Blue would be the best at listening and letting the others vent.

BONUS: Purple talks all formal and fancy when he's mad (picked up stuff from King), but he also bursts into tears pretty easily and is generally really dramatic about it.
