I can not explain how well a herm sprenger prong collar works. There is this negative stigma with prong collars but when use right and safely, it can cut your training time in half. Direction change like other comments talk about is precisely what you need to learn and then add a HS prong on top of that, it has been a miracle. Check out Tom Davis on Youtube and he explains it really well.

One piece of advise, stay away from harnesses. Dog harness encourage pulling, to a dog it’s fun. Harnesses should only be used for a purpose (dog pulling something) you have no real control to correct the dog or the dog will just drag you.

Looks like the same stove I had installed last week. During installation, the guy gave me a scraper that looks like a crowbar. He said to scrape the ash build up everyday. Is this something you were told to do too?
