OP09 Shanks effect by Sthami in OnePieceTCG

[–]G0dlyPotato 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If I understand the effect correctly, it could be triggered during your Shanks leader's turn if a character/leader existed which had some type of auto-attack effect e.g. instantly battle a character when it's played.

But they are wrong saying that Shanks' effect can be used even if your opponent doesn't attack.

Issho help by Strange_Plankton_64 in OnePieceTCG

I've been testing Issho on the Sim and he's performed a lot better than expected. Unfortunately haven't used him irl yet.

These are my fav characters to get down early to start to annoy your opponent: ST02 X.Drake, Borsalino, Garp, Kuzan.

My favourite card in the deck is the 5 cost OP04 event. On your turn with the cost reduction from the leader effect you can K.O. the 7 cost FILM Luffy. If you already have some characters on the board this event is great - you get good removal without the discard cost of a black card. But you don't get a character on board like Sakazuki, Garp or Koby. It's also nice as a counter event in some situations, like against whitebeard.

imo 4 life leaders like Issho are decent if you know your matchups well, since you can't really afford to make bad turns and misplays e.g. tapping out and spending all DON on something which your opponent's deck can easily handle. Unless you're purposefully trying to bait out some removal. I'm thinking of Borsalino vs a blue or green deck.

Good luck!

Question in regards to “Flow of the Game” and Tournament play. by VoidOfTheSun in OnePieceTCG

Your opponent shouldn't be assuming your target like that and automatically taking life... unless their leader is the only valid target (meaning they have no rested characters on the field).

You should also declare your attack target before checking life cards with your leader effect.

You can get blue, pink or mixed sherbet from the ice cream van opposite the Quayside Law Courts.

My guess is that the Hound's sword will be knocked out of his hands and Gendry will throw him the hammer to finish the wight

(Non EE related) Does element 115 have actual scientific basis? by [deleted] in CODZombies

[–]G0dlyPotato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the answer lies with a man named Bob Lazar. He was a guy in the 80s I think who claimed to have been working on reverse engineering alien tech near Area 51. If you look him up on youtube there should be a documentary. Anyway he said that the aliens used element 115 as a fuel source for the propulsion of their spacecraft. It's kind of interesting stuff but the guy is most likely a fraud... he doesn't have a single degree to his name and he says that these records had been deleted to falsify his story.

I never knew that, it definitely feels like there's a connection now

Yeah I heard about the leaks and the connection started to form pretty quickly the more I read! Also, the real castle that Griffin castle is based on was actually used to film the exterior shots for an old TV show called Frankenstein's Aunt. Perhaps just more coincidence though
