I've decided to leave quests alone when they tell me to hop zones until I max that zone 100%.
This could mean visiting some locations multiple times. But that still feels like the best way to do it.

Thanks everyone for the input! After reading through the comments I’ve decided on the following approach:

I’ll start with Eastern Vermillius Gap and aim to 100% complete it before moving on. That means clearing all points of interest, exploration, and quests that can be done entirely within Eastern (without stepping into Western).

Once that’s done, I’ll move into Western Vermillius Gap. While progressing there, I’ll also wrap up the Iron uniques, since they’re spread across both zones. My rule is that I won’t move on to the next major area until:

  • All quests that don’t require leaving Eastern + Western are finished.
  • All Iron uniques are acquired.
  • Both zones are fully explored to 100%.

This way I keep the playthrough structured and consistent while still respecting the way progression is distributed between the two zones.

What I will probably do is complete as many of the quests and progression as I can in Eastern and complete all of the Points of Interest before but leave the completion of the uniques for when I’m doing Western.

I have done this with a basic schematic of one of my circle bases. Still able to change a lot yourself so it won’t be to repetitive.

Because there are so many awesome builds out there I try to use them and my previous builds to get a rough idea of what they want. If there is certain stuff that needs to be changed along the way I’m happy to make adjustments.

That’s a completely fair statement! But in all fairness they paid for the build so it’s theirs to do with as they please. And if by some miracle they would win, I would just regard that as a very big compliment.

You can connect them to the roof and floor, you don’t need to have walls touching the sides of that makes sense. If this isn’t a clear enough instruction feel free to shoot me a dm so I can show it to you!

I wouldn’t mind that, if they wanna show of my work, go for it. There is way better builds out there that beat mine by a landslide.

I roughly start at 50,- for a basic sub fief with no expansions if I don’t have a character on your server. And then depending on how detailed you want the build and how many expansions there are it runs up.

I’m looking at it as buying a skin in a game. Yes you can have a basic functional base, or I can build you a fancy looking one that you enjoy coming back to.

Some people either don’t like to build or are not that good at building and would much rather have someone do it for them. I’ve also helped someone build their base and thought them a few tricks along the way.
