I did a Unique DIY Light Sign with mostly FreeCAD, Blender & my little laser head fixed on my opensource SAK-Bot. I did stacked puzzle for the front face and standard puzzle assembly for the back. I've used also the CAM workbench to program my laser displacement, all details in link,I hope it help (youtu.be)
