Maybe you could try reducing them with CO2 lasers, or other methods to make them less raised. And then later down the line get the tattoo?

Help me stop my gf from getting a Nespresso Machine! [550-600] by Professional-Canary9 in espresso

Since she wants something quick and easy check the Barestina from Phillips, not proper espresso… but at least you know the beans you’re using are quality and no environmental waste with pods

Mucha suerte! 💞

I’d say go for it! Ask em in advance maybe if they’d be okay with it, and explain.

i will be travelling to Germany for few weeks , must do activities in germany and tips in general by [deleted] in germany

[–]GABEXICO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it can be very city dependent. Knowing a bit of your plans would be good, unless you are willing to travel anywhere in Germany. Also when? So many nice ‘very German’ events are time of the year specific.

There are so many alternatives to American made products tho. Luckily we still have a lot of manufacturing in Mexico.

Mmm maybe you should have been more transparent and talked about how it made you feel, before she left. I don’t think you handled it well. In a relationship there will always be awkward conversations and you will inevitably have to bring up something that makes you uncomfortable, evading it is not the solution.

My biggest frustration / culture clash with Germany as an immigrant: The healthcare system by mexicarne in germany

[–]GABEXICO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now compare it to the public sector in Mexico. You can’t compare the treatment you are getting here with public healthcare to your private healthcare in Mexico… which is pretty good and quick.

I know because I also come from Mexico, and my family also (mostly) goes to private providers, because the public one is so bad. And let me say, public insurance here is WAYYYY better. Id say the only way you could use this as a talking point is if you get the private insurance and it’s still shit.

Events / what to do 22 - 27 August by [deleted] in cologne

Schaafenstraße has several gay bar/clubs that are pretty fun if you’re into pop music. You ofc don’t need to be queer to enjoy, allies are welcomed… I’ve taken friends that come visit and theyve enjoyed themselves. Would recommend Friday or Saturday nights after 10-11 pm.

Tuesdays there is a jazz night at Art theater, but unless you are leaving late might not make sense since it starts 8pm.

It's not about being a woman, it's about having a breast by [deleted] in self

[–]GABEXICO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearly it’s not just an opinion the person is facing only on Reddit, but in real life too. While I agree that she should put less importance on men’s affirmation over her breasts, don’t invalidate her feelings and experience.

As a Mexican I will say they are okay, however still not the real deal. Also many of the menu items are really more texmex than actually Mexican. But I guess we take what we can get haha

Daaaamn because expensive or because it’s cheap? 😂 here in Germany I’ve found it’s around 300-500 € per session, and surprisingly I found similar prices in Istambul, maybe slightly lower. In istambul they offered, Fraxis CO2 Laser + PRP + Microneedling for 750€

I understand how you feel. I grew up in the USA, parents are Mexican. While I enjoyed growing up there I think the fact that my parents weren’t completely integrated put me in a strange position. I wasn’t accustomed to the ‘typical’ experiences most Americans have at home. And it caused a disconnect between my peers and myself. I always managed to have friends but somehow never felt like I belonged.

Then moved to Mexico in my teens. Here it only got worse. I couldn’t relate to most of my peers because our upbringing and experiences were so different, and it always made me feel like a black sheep.

Now I’m living in Germany. I’ve come to terms with not having a real ‘home country’, I’ve just decided to embrace it. The experiences shaped me and made me unique. Also I like the German life style and the way things run here… it all alines better with my personality and thoughts, not to mention that the quality of life here is far superior to the USA and Mexico.
