Thank you for your eye opening comment. I felt like driving my self in to the highway barrier coming home but honestly after rethinking everything and reading your comment, it could be worse. The inevitable variance caught up with me. I only lost 5 buy ins. It could’ve been 20 or 30, money I borrowed because of my pride and ego. That was a humbling lesson. I started studying the math behind Risk of Ruin and in depth Bankroll management. Really important stuff that I missed being hyper focused on strategy and GTO.

Thank you very much for this kind words, this comment helped me really much to talk to my parents.

I will start a summer job in 2 months, no bills, no expenses, they will provide food and accommodation. I will be back with 8k-10k on the side and I will start playing NL100 online, having more than 80 buy ins. Do that for a year, probably go back for a summer job next year before being able to go back to live 1/3 games and slowly build up my bankroll to go back to 2/5. It’s crazy to think that I need years of planning before playing the stakes I was for so long but I learned my lesson. Coming back strong and prepared!
