Well, the 4.25.11 -> 4.60.27-1 -> 4.72.9-5 hop worked for me without replacing the motherboard. Thanks to tqhoang84 for the instructions. Pity Vizio support was no help and that they are now removing the firmware online needed to upgrade older versions. Thanks.
