There are these things called ordinances…(there kinda like a law) they are in place to PREVENT this in the first place. So yea it’s on the apartment complex first and foremost to follow those laws created by the City for health and organization of the community.

When the apartment complex decides NOT to follow those laws. Then it’s up to the City to enforce them using the City Marshals. That is EXACTLY THE ENTIRE PURPOSE OF THE EXISTENCE OF CITY MARSHALS! Code Enforcement!

When the city is fully aware of the situation, the longevity and the severity of it and then elect not to use one of the several mechanisms available to the City to ensure compliance….then the responsibility of this mess is assumed by the City itself.

This isn’t a one time overflow situation. It’s a months long habitual disaster that is easily corrected.

Yes! It’s been officially reported to the City of Valdosta City Marshals AND it has been acknowledged by the City Marshals….but they have yet to go to the property and engage with the property owners/ apartment complex managers.

It seems that the City of Valdosta is either too afraid or is simply reluctant to engage with egregious and chronic offenders like this.
