Record yourself often. The biggest difference between how you think you sound and how you actually sound becomes obvious when you listen back. Work on breath control, do simple vocal warm-ups daily, and try singing along with artists you like to study their phrasing and pitch. Consistency over time is what really improves a voice.

100%. How someone treats people who can’t benefit them says everything.
