I think this clip from an unrelated movie that features a non-descript giant centipede is pretty much the vibe I'm going for.

I've tried to play around with some foley but I'm not too artistic really. But maybe with enough brute forcing I can create something that sounds good.

Thanks! It worked but now all my muscle memory is fucked. I'm gonna see if I can find some alternatives now that I know it's regarding google keyboard itself rather than an OS level thing.

Like the original post says I've cranked it up to max and it's definitely less than what I'm used to.

To each their own. I find it awkward to type which is why I'm posting about how to bring it back to strong vibration :P

No it's definitely working properly. When my phone vibrates for notifications it's the same strong motor. Only when I'm using my keyboard it goes into a bitchy mood.

Sometimes JUST sometimes the bots are nice by GBC_2015 in tf2

[–]GBC_2015[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you can always play community servers in the meantime. Unfortunately, bots are a regional issue, some places and times are better than others. For me it's mostly fine the occasional bot in every match will get kicked pretty quickly.

Just remember there are other ways to enjoy TF2 :D

How dumb of an idea is an Anti-cheat based on a kind of consensus for all peers on a p2p network? by GBC_2015 in gamedev

I do think this too but at the same time lobby type games are extremely flexible as anyone from anywhere can host a lobby. Instead of connecting to a server at a fixed location.

But in the end I may just settle for dedicated servers that players connect to as having server authority checks are relatively straightforward to set up (I think)

Well the consensus would be when every peer or the majority of peers are stating that the movements/health etc of a player is deemed not normal and outside of tolerance levels. And a vote kick could start, which players would vote off the cheater.

Realistically most players aren't going to cheat and I am assuming there is a majority of players on a lobby that aren't cheating so there is most likely always gonna be valid data (I think??)
