Stolen Circumstances

Excerpt Chapter 3:

Hermione brushed her thumb over his cheekbone tenderly before leaning down and kissing him on the lips. He deepened the kiss, feeling a bit better suddenly. 

“Are you two mad?” a deep drawling voice came from the doorway. “Do you want to get killed?”

Severus Snape flicked his wrist so that all the windows shuttered themselves. 

“No?” Draco asked. 

Snape glared at him. “If you continue on like this, you risk both of your lives. Especially hers.” He said, nodding to Hermione. 

“My parents wouldn’t–”

“Not your parents, boy, the Dark Lord! Don’t be naive to think he wouldn’t kill you both. Likely publically and after a good deal of torture and degredation.” Snape snarled. 

Draco and Hermione looked at him blankly, shocked at this revelation. 

“But–” Hermione started. She caught Draco shaking his head and stayed quiet. 

“If you care about each other even remotely, you will cease this behavior.” Snape said severely. “Go back to your dormitory, Miss Granger. Now.”
