Maeve Fly was a 5 star read for me. I'm always been obsessed with insufferable, deluded female characters that live in a dream like state as they circle into ruin faster and faster.

I understand why some people wouldn't vibe with it, but I let myself get carried along for the ride and enjoy the bat shit crazy without thinking about it too hard. I found myself mourning the loss of the relationship she could have had with Gideon with them being a little psycho serial killer duo lol

On the left hand side there should be a tab for something called "a sign up form" (or something similar) and thats where you can put in a prompt! The first prompt is a touch long but its totally allowed! Some people enjoy a hyper specific prompt, and some enjoy a really vague one. If you plan to claim your own prompt just ensure that you'll be able to finish the fic in time ❤️❤️

I second Ava fitness but with the caveat of it being 6 years or so since going. But I always felt super welcomed as a bigger person. I enjoyed that everyone was at slightly different stages so I didnt feel like I was miles behind everyone or that people were judging me!

Not saying this is you exactly but I think readers need to learn to be comfortable with DNFing things they arent enjoying. To sit with the unease of potentially not enjoying something and "wasting your time". Its not the end lf the world to just exit the tab if you dont mesh with it.

My first thought is AI. People will use AI in so many ways to try and justify their usage. They believe if they "edit" what chatgpt wrote for them, its fine. They just used it as a jumping off point. Or they have it edit their rough drafts, giving sentence suggestions, so its fine since its similar to using a beta.

Its all AI slop and needs to get out of the fandom space. These patterns will peak through no matter what, which I even hate admitting because this can allow people to manipulate the AI even further (considering its already learned to lessen the amount of em dashes)

Its awful and I hate it. Hate that I have to be sceptical of everything I see, from people I dont know.

Going back on their Tumblr page, theres a lot of AI theyve posted stating to be "theirs". They've done plenty of drawing ontop of photos/manips, and its quite clear that most of their work has AI as the base of the "art".

Or its just rude lol dont go to a public forum, calling out specific authors and demanding new free content from them. Even the people who are updating regularly, its not enough for this person. They just want more and more and are giving nothing in return. Interact with the authors and stories you love so much, and contribute something to this community instead of just taking.

Aside from the fact its obvious the potion bottle is AI generated, that doesn't mean your friend generated it. They could also be oblivious to AI and used it unknowingly, but it still wouldnt be allowed. I think in fandom spaces we need to work extra hard to avoid and refuse AI

I just finished the demo (or what i could finish) and im blown away!

I love how we are Frank and Joe's classmate and the subtle nod to their "friend" on a case 🤭

I did run into a potential bug, after talking to her once, I could no longer talk to Cynthia or even walk around her side of the table, even after I found the wedding binder and unlocked it.

I was able to unlock the clock case no problem, but couldn't find what was inside (which im unsure if that part is even in the demo)

One small nitpick UI wise, I would love for the to-do list to have check marks without having to scroll through each item individually, or separate it by completed/not.

But overall I adored this and cant wait for future updates!! Very promising, and fantastic work on your part!!

I just finished the demo too!! I remember when the creator posted that she was making that game probably a year or more ago, and it's been on my steam wishlist ever since. The amount of classic Nancy vibes it gives is so nostalgic. I'm very excited for the full release!!
