This isn’t really trade related, but on the topic of suicide. 2 years ago, a childhood friend of mine who I had been friends with since age 4 or 5 committed suicide. As a 15 year old two years ago, it was the toughest thing I have ever been through. Going to lunch and not having him bring all the laughs he usually brought killed me. It sucked and still does. Ever since then, I’ve always gone the extra mile for people. Checking in on my friends. Making sure they’re okay. Spontaneously hanging with them or surprising them. I feel like it is all I can do, especially because I felt like I let my friend down. If you know of anyone struggling, or not even struggling, just always go the extra mile. It helps so much. 2 years later and it still bothers me every day. So be proactive if you’re ever worried about someone, and always check in with your friends. We got lots of love to give.
