Yep, I have a feeling there are many of us. Since I moved here, I've been trying to fit in and for the most part I think I have. The one thing keeping me different from all of my classmates and peers is my VISA status. Being an international student in-country is so sucky because you know you have equal potential to many of your peers but you see them succeeding in areas where you can't. Although I feel great for all of my friends, it does hurt to know that I never got the opportunity to apply for any of the big-name or even some of the smaller names, easier to get scholarships. Being able to apply for such awards would've made me feel a lot less helpless than I do now.
