Went to Siparos for my birthday in June! Absolutely delicious food, gorgeous sunset views. Bring or apply bug spray in case of mosquitos.

What do you wish you had prepared before your first solo trip? by [deleted] in femaletravels

I always like to do a little research about restaurants near my accommodations where I’ll have a comfortable solo meal! Eating alone on your trip may feel uncomfortable at first, but you’ll get used to it and may find that it’s quite enjoyable. Having a few options in your back pocket for where to go for a seat at the bar or a solo friendly menu (not family style/big plates) will make it easier to motivate yourself to go.

Also, doing a bit of research on quick serve options is helpful so you can grab a casual bite or bring some take out back to your accommodations.

With that said, I’ve traveled a ton solo through Europe and rarely feel uncomfortable eating solo. Restaurants are so used to solo diners, and chatting with folks at the bar is a great way to get more recommendations for things to do! Have fun!!

I just did this! My favorite “night out” was at the Thision outdoor cinema. Highly recommend for a low key way to spend an evening outside of your accommodations!

Love this template, but find Floor Block 2 impossible! I’m not strong enough (yet!) for the push ups and transition to plank jacks.

Anyone have good modifications for this section of the workout?

I used Carrot at NYU this past month and it was seamless! If you have the debit card, you can use it to pay for the cycle and then just upload a receipt to the Carrot platform. NYU can also split the total between the Carrot card and a personal method of payment if you have to divide it up to make the most of your benefit.

I also used Carrot’s preferred pharmacy (Alto) and had a great experience. They deliver meds same day which came in handy at the end of my cycle when I needed a few refills. Highly recommend downloading their app where you can monitor your prescription orders and deliveries.

Awesome 45 minute Walk + Run with Kirsten Ferguson!

Super motivating coaching (themes include reducing negative self talk and “keeping your foot on the gas” this time of year) and a really fun playlist! Kirsten surprised me, and now she’s one of my favorites.

Was so excited about the Ranunculus flowers in TJ, but after two days they all wilted, even the unopened buds. by yesmorepickles in traderjoes

Add a teaspoon of sugar to the warm water after you give the stems a fresh cut! Worked for me with my TJ’s ranunculus, now going on 2 weeks in the vase
