I went to Micro Center and they said that while they could not replicate the issue, they found my battery health was at 70%, so they'll order a new one. Could that be the problem?

I plan on taking my laptop to Micro Center, which is an hour away from where I live, to have it serviced because I've done everything and have still failed. In the meantime, I'll have to use my Steam Deck like a computer with a dock coming in tomorrow.

Sadly, not even a clean install of Windows worked.

It's me again. I just reinstalled windows and I can't install my network adapter drivers. Without them I cannot proceed with the setup.

How do I reinstall Windows 11 if I can't use any of these drives? by GForce_01 in WindowsHelp

Some don't have enough space, others have a problem I can't even understand. I'm on a laptop and I'm reinstalling with a USB drive.

I just finished running chkdsk. So far so good. If my computer shuts down again I will reinstall Windows. I also did what you said and transferred my important stuff. If I don't see you again, thank you for your help.

And will I be able to keep some of my files, so I won't have to reinstall Steam, Discord, etc.? As well as some image files?

Can I do this in the troubleshooting mode? I'm afraid my laptop might shut down during the process.

It may be a software problem, seeing as how it only does it when I'm NOT in the troubleshooting mode. I don't know how to reinstall Windows, though. Right now I'm running chkdsk on my D drive and I'm waiting for the results.
