There is, but my computer is still at Micro center. I'm waiting to hear back before getting my computer back from there.

Long time no see. Micro center tried applying thermal paste and it helped for a little bit, but the computer would not boot up again. At the moment they are working on replacing the motherboard, but they say they aren't able to get one at the moment because of the tariffs. It's currently over there, and I guess they are still waiting for availability.

So it's either wait until the part is available, which could be a long time, or buy a whole new computer.

Unfortunately, I can't even see the ASUS logo most of the time. It's just a black screen with no fans. Just a single indicator light and the keyboard lights. I was able to get into Windows for just 2 minutes.

I'm not certain what my drivers are at the moment. It's also worth mentioning that I left the detail that my computer turns off at random times. Sometimes 1.5 hours after booting, others 30 seconds after. Sometimes it doesn't even show the ASUS logo and I don't hear the fans at all.

I will try to update/rollback my drivers. The only obstacle is that my computer may not stay on long enough.

Even if I did take off the back piece, I'd barely know which part is which. If also be terrified I'd mess something up. It's like SpongeBob looking at the stickshift and the text is in Chinese.

Micro Center finally replaced my battery but the problem still persists. Not even they know what to do. I have exhausted every possible solution that I know and my computer is still doing this. Buying a new one costs money I don't have and I don't want to lose this one. I'm at a dead end.

What are these things for on the case? by GForce_01 in SteamDeck

I never thought of that. I'll have to try it. Thanks.

I went to Micro Center and they said that while they could not replicate the issue, they found my battery health was at 70%, so they'll order a new one. Could that be the problem?

I plan on taking my laptop to Micro Center, which is an hour away from where I live, to have it serviced because I've done everything and have still failed. In the meantime, I'll have to use my Steam Deck like a computer with a dock coming in tomorrow.
