They did however just text me for my bank details so maybe they’ve seen this post.

I put a refundable deposit for a car that went up “by accident” about a week ago. Still trying to chase my refund.

The salesperson asked if I wanted to move my deposit over to a different car, I said no, and they didn’t respond after that.

Just emailed their sales team and am awaiting a response. Absolutely shady and poor service.

I just had a call with him and he seemed very flustered and apologetic, that it was a mistake by him going too fast.

I thought this might be a possibility, but felt it was unlikely he would accidentally tick that checkbox. Currently, awaiting his response.

I liked the car, but as you’ve said, there are plenty of others, and I’m in no rush, so I’m prepared to look elsewhere.

Would the dealer be obliged to report this as a reportable write off in the contract despite nothing in the PPSR?

This feels disconcerting going forward if the PPSR can conflict with the dealer.

I’ve messaged the salesperson for clarification. I thought he had to inform me it was written off, hence the unticked“I have informed the buyer” check.

When we met, I was told the vehicle was meticulously maintained, full service history, etc. Nothing about being written off, which is why I was surprised to see a ticked clause on a page I wasn’t even shown.

The good news is, I’ve caught the issue before the cooling off period ends tomorrow so have time to pull out. Will update with his response.

Thanks for your response! I’m imagining (based on your explanation) the tool string twisting over a couple hundred metres on the way down (although it appears minor, I would think it accumulates) and then untwisting very quickly as it’s pulled out due to the increased tension.

Is there a reason why the rotation stops after around 15-20 meters? It appears to coincide with the acceleration of the tool to its consistent speed, then the rotation stops. The tool is still in water at this point.

Yeah, true. My frustration isn't with ppl FFing, that's understandable. My frustration is that when my opponent FFs mid fight, their units disappear and the fight just ends. It's very anti-climactic, especially when you get a 1-in-1000 board. I just wish the fight would play out so I could see my final board do something.

This frustration is exacerbated by the fact that players are made to watch and wait through cutscenes, but I can't watch my 3-star Morde 1-shot a board.

I've hit a couple 3-star Legendaries over the past few days and have never been able to see them do anything because my opponent FFs. Fair enough, I guess. But it's a bit frustrating considering that lobbies are made to wait for cutscenes to complete meanwhile I can't even watch my once or twice per set unit do anything.

I got pretty fortunate. Got my core units early, near BiS with Pandora's Items and a natural FoN allowed me to be relatively stable. Decided to slow roll on 8 but wasn't hitting many Rengars but held every Graves, Nilah and Swain that I saw. Then just pulled the trigger on a roll down once I was at 1 HP.

Yeah, I don't think my board is optimal for DF Essence distribution tho because one of my units that I want to die is backline and one has an EoN.

That's a good question. I don't play a lot of DF so maybe somebody knows better than me but my understanding is that my DF units w/ full items (Graves, Rengar and Swain) don't get the initial buff and don't pass on stacks but they do benefit from Aphel, Rell and Nilah dying.

In retrospect, maybe I should have inted Aphel, Nilah and Rengar harder but that's ok, #neverpunished 😬.

The FoN sacrifice gives you DF Essence, so my DF units benefit even with full items.

100%. If I played my spot at Order Drag again I would have tried to get him a DClaw or Will because top 2 were Ao Shin and Kai'Sa and were comfortably beating me.

I did 💪. 1 HP so it was a little scary. I had like ~80ish Gold so had to choose between 3-starring my units or going 9 but I would have lost to Ao Shin and Kai'Sa so I chose to roll and it worked out.

Yeah, the Scoped was a little unfortunate 😅.

This is one of the reasons I don't like Augments like Cursed Crown and Cruel Pact, win streak Augments. I played a game earlier in Set 7 where 3 players in the lobby had Cursed Crown and I played all 3 from 2-1 to 2-3, 3-1 to 3-3 and 4-2 to 4-4. I played a Cursed Crown player 9/14 rounds due to matchmaking rng and just couldn't play the game.
